SQRL agrees to sell c-store arm to Louisiana company SQRL Holdings has agreed to sell its convenience store arm, SQRL Service Stations, to Gas Hub Investments LLC, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based business. The deal, aimed at resolving SQRL's "significant liquidity issues," awaits finalization. Gas Hub's president, Jamal Hizam, owns other convenience stores in Baton Rouge. Is cookie fatigue hitting consumers? Crumbl, formerly known as Crumbl Cookies, reported a 37% decrease in average store revenue for its 571 locations in 2023 according to its franchise disclosure document. This marks the first year their average unit volume declined.
